Gloria M. (Matera) Musto, of Wayland, passed away peacefully, on Friday April 21st. She was 90. Born and raised in Medford she was the daughter of the late Henry and Angelina (Reni) Matera.

Gloria was a 1944 graduate of the Saint Clement High School in Medford where she was the valedictorian of her class. She then attended Regis College in 1948. After Gloria and Ted were married they relocated to California where Ted was employed as an artist for MGM Studios. They then returned to the Boston area and would spend most of their time in Wayland where Gloria served as a substitute teacher for the public school system.

After her retirement Gloria loved to vacation in Florida during the winter and spend the summers with her family in Mashpee on the Cape. Gloria was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother she will be remembered for the love she shared with her family.

Gloria was the beloved wife of the late Theodore R. Musto. She was the devoted mother of Joya Casey and her husband Rick, Meredith Horan and her husband Jim; all of Framingham. Loving grandmother of Ted and Christopher Casey. Loving great-grandmother of Matthew Hart, Olivia and Lillian Casey. Dear sister of the late Angela "Tootie" Corrado and Irma McGory.

Gloria's funeral will be from the Dello Russo funeral home, 306 Main St., Medford Tuesday, April 25th at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 - 7 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
