Channing R. Coveney passed away on Thursday, April 20th, 2017 his loving family by his side. Born in Boston 93 years ago, Chan was a lifelong resident of Milton and graduate of Milton High School. He also graduated from The College of the Holy Cross - he was always so proud to be a Crusader! He graduated with his Law Degree from Suffolk University Law. Chan was a corporate lawyer for N.E. Electric Systems for many years, retiring in 1986 and he was a proud WWII Navy veteran. He was always a gentleman and had a smile on his face at all times. Beloved husband of the late Anne Marie (Owens) and devoted father of Anne Coveney of Boston and Baltimore, MD and Eileen Coveney and her husband, Robert Whelan of Milton. Brother of the late Justine Mallahan. Dear friend of Bill and Mary Whelan of Falmouth. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Agatha Church, Milton Saturday morning at 10. Visiting hour at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton 8:30am to 9:30am prior to Mass.
