Sandra M. (LeBlanc) Gildea, 61, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester.
Sandra was born in Waltham, the daughter of Joseph and Rebecca (deGaribody) LeBlanc. She was a department manager for the Department of Industrial Accidents in Boston for over sixteen years before retiring in 2012.
She leaves her loving husband of 33 years, Joseph D. Gildea, Sr.; four children, Heather A. Sheridan of New Jersey, Jeremy J. LeBlanc of Austin, TX, Maureen Gildea of Calais, ME and Charles Gildea of Holland, MA; her step-father, Alfred Parrella of Hudson; two sisters, Elise Pantalone of Hudson and Carol LeBlanc of Onset; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Joseph D. Gildea, Jr.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 23rd from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Tighe Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson. Funeral services for Sandra will be held from the funeral home on Monday, April 24th with a 9:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael’s Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the MSPCA, Angell Donations, 350 Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
