Judy L. (Thompson) Duncan, age 71, of Brockton, died April 17, 2017, at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Judy was the loving wife for 50 years of Joseph R. Duncan. Born in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Irene (Holt) Thompson. She was raised in West Quincy, and was a 1963 graduate of Fontbonne Academy. She had been employed as a Phlebotomist for Harbor Medical, Med Path and Bridgewater Medical Associates. Fun loving and caring, Judy enjoyed flowers, drawing, painting, watching Jeopardy and spending time with her family.
Judy was the mother of Robert Duncan and his wife Roseann of East Taunton, Scott Duncan and his wife Andrea of Taunton and Stephanie Duncan of Taunton; grandmother of Joshua, Natalie, Justin and Andrew, and sister of Joseph Thompson of New Bedford and the late Phillip Thompson.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Thursday 10-12 noon, followed by a funeral service at noon. Please consider making a donation in Judy’s name to the St. Vincent DePaul Society 54 Lyman Street, Brockton, MA 02302.
