Mary E. Palombo, 93, formerly of Scituate, died peacefully, Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Cortland Place in Greenville . She was the widow of John J. Palombo whom she had been married to for 65 years at the time of his death.
Born in Bradford, England, she was a daughter of the late Joe and Margaret (McCann) Magee. She had lived in North Scituate for forty-four years. Mary had she served in the Women’s Land Army and Timber Corps from 1942-1944 in the United Kingdom
She is survived by her siblings and several nieces and nephews in England.
Her graveside committal service will be held Saturday at 9:30 am in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston.
