John Carleton "Carl" Ivie, 67 years old, of Ventura, California, passed away on Saturday April 8, 2017 at the City of Hope Hospital in Duarte, California.
Carl was born in Ventura to Charles and Emma Ivie on October 18, 1949. He graduated from Ventura High School and was rafted in the U.S. Army. After returning home from Vietnam he became an apprentice with The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 952. He was also a member of the Ventura Elks and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.
Carl is survived by his son Alex, his sister Cindy, nephew Michael and grandsons Corbin and Ryu.
Family and friends are invited to Memorial Services to be held on Saturday May 20, 2017 at Noon in the IBEW Local 952Hall, 3994 E. Main Street Ventura, CA 93003.
