ABRAHAM, Nicholas A. “Nicky, Papu” 76, Died peacefully in his sleep on April 9, 2017.

Son of Nicholas Abraham (Boston) and Ida (Ghiz) Abraham (Worcester), brother of Richard M. Abraham (Florida) brother of Donna (Abraham) Cawley, (West Roxbury) Brother of deceased Diane (Abraham) Slater (West Barnstable) Nicholas was married to his beloved loving and caring wife Evelyn (Stathopoulos) Abraham for 50 years and resided in Weston. He was a member of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox church in Weston. Nicholas will leave behind his lovely wife Evelyn, his daughter Annise (Abraham) Hoaglund, her husband Daniel Hoaglund, his Son Nicholas P. Abraham and his wife Erin (Kalakowsky) Abraham, and his 6 loving grandchildren.

Nicholas Graduated Boston Latin High School in 1959; starting offensive center and defensive tackle on the school’s all-time best football team - inducted into BLS Football Hall of Fame; record holder in City of Boston shot put competition; elected class officer.

Nicholas then attended Boston University School of Business and Graduated with BS degree in 1963; served as class President in sophomore, junior and senior years; Man of the Year in sophomore, junior and senior years; selected to Who’s Who in American Universities and Colleges and the Boston University Hall of Fame.

Nicholas went on to go to the Boston University, School of Law. Graduated with LLB degree in 1966 and Admitted to Mass. Bar 1966.

After Law School, Nicholas Served in the U.S. Army as a private from 1966-1967, honorable discharge; transferred to U.S. Navy as an officer in the Judge Advocate General Corps from 1967-72, retired at the rank of Lt. Commander, honorable discharge.

While being a full-time lawyer, Nicholas went off and started his successful career in Real Estate, he started Abraham Properties, Inc. in 1987. He built many condominiums and buildings across Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

A visitation will be held at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 57 Brown St., Weston, Wednesday, April 12 from 10-11am followed by a funeral service in the church at 11am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Linwood Cemetery, Weston. May his memory be eternal. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Demetrios Church.
