Obituary

John R. Corcoran, 70 years, of Marshfield, formerly of Brockton passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Friday, April 7, 2017. John was born in Brockton, the son of the late James T. Corcoran and Mildred C. (McLaughlin) Corcoran.

John is survived by his loving wife of 34 years Jane E. (Arnone) Corcoran. He was the devoted father of Timothy W. of Austin, TX; Michael J. of Marshfield, MA; and Jason P. and his wife Beth and grandson Damien of Orange County, California. He was the brother of Jane M. Corcoran and the late James T. Corcoran. He is also survived by his sister- in- law Joan B. Corcoran of Longmeadow, MA.

John was the owner of Isam Mitchell & Co. of Brockton for many years. In retirement, he operated an art and frame shop in the E. T. Wright Building in Rockland.

John was passionate about the arts. He was an accomplished artist and an avid reader. He loved spending time at Rexhame Beach with his family and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Church 433 West St., Brockton at 11am. Visitation with his family will be held in the church 9:30-11am. Burial will be at a later date.
