Carmela “Dolly” DiGiantommaso (Damigella), age 83, of Canton, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2017
Born in Boston she was raised in Dorchester and graduated from Cathedral High School. She worked as a Data Processing Supervisor for Decatur Hopkins for many years until her retirement.
Devoted wife of the late Alexander DiGiantommaso. She was the daughter of the late Antonio Damigella and Germaine Manduca and sister of the late Harry Damigella. Loving mother of Anthony DiGiantommaso and his wife Diane of North Attleboro, Pauline Vinciguerra and her husband Gary of Canton and Alex DiGiantommaso and his wife Charlene of Canton. She also leaves her eight precious grandchildren Danielle, Ashley, Anthony, Kristen, Alexander, Andrew, Alexander and Paul.
Carmela loved to crochet, read, cook and cross stitch, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren who meant the world to her.
Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St Canton Tuesday from 4-8 pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, April 12, 2017 in St John the Evangelist Church 700 Washington St Canton at 10:30 am. Interment Knollwood Memorial Park Canton.
