Obituary

WORCESTER: Priscilla Pauline Chambers, 75, died peacefully at home on Sunday, April 2, 2017, surrounded by her family. Her husband of 28 years, James Stanley, predeceased her.

She is survived by four children, Donna M. Chambers, Vivian R. Hawkins, Lee Chambers, all of Worcester, and Ronald Chambers of Orange; five step-children, Jamie, Neal, James, Laura and Patricia Stanley; eight grandchildren, Monique Chambers, Nicole Crook, Ronnie Chambers, Jerome Chambers, Ramell Douglas, Gwenjetta Aguila, and James Hawkins; many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was born in Malden, the youngest daughter the late Ernest and Eleanore (Walley) Chambers and lived in Boston before moving to Worcester. A brother Ernest Chambers of Malden, and 6 sisters, Eleanor Sampson of Boston, Vivian Crayton of Worcester, Stella Ashmore of Worcester, Bernice Kelley of Worcester, Ernestine Smith of Malden, and Mae H. Burroughs of Worcester, all predeceased her.

Priscilla will be remembered for her colorful personality and her love of family. Her favorite quote was “I Lived the Way I Loved”.

A Graveside Service will be held in Hope Cemetery at the convenience of the family. There are No Calling Hours.

The family respectfully invites you to join them for a Celebration of Priscilla's Life from 2 to 8 P.M. on Monday, April 10 at the American Legion Post No. 203 at 326 Plantation Street. All are welcome.
