Helen A. (Hayes) Caffelle, age 92, lifelong of Brockton, died Wednesday April 5, 2017 at her home. She was the devoted wife of the late Richard H. Caffelle and daughter of the late Michael and Helen (Welch) Hayes. Helen was a 1942 graduate of Brockton High School and lifelong communicant of St. Patrick Church. Time spent with family and friends was important to her. She also enjoyed bowling, bingo and time spent at the Senior Center.
Helen is survived by her four children Richard Caffelle and his wife Barbara of Canton; Paul Caffelle of West Harwich; Daniel Caffelle and his wife Diane of NC and Jean Humfryes and her husband Brian of Falmouth. She leaves ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of Vincent Hayes and the late Joseph and Walter Hayes.
Visiting hours will be held in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, Friday 4-8pm. The funeral procession will gather at the funeral home Saturday at 8am for a funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church at 9am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
