Slattery-Rice and her husband James Rice of East Kingston, NH, Alan D. Slattery and his wife Katherine of Milford. Loving grandfather of Hannah, Elliot, Katherine, Isabelle, Matthew, Desmond and Maggie Jean. Brother of the late William Slattery and Mary Govoni. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Retired employee of the N.E. Telephone for 39 years. WWII Army Air Force Veteran, member of DAV-Somerville, and the Needham VFW.
A visitation will be held in the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave. Needham, Wednesday April 5, from 9:45-10:45am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Bartholomew Church, Needham at 11am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne.
