Beatrice Patricia (Pat) Portrais, 79, went to her rest on the evening of March 4th after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Beatrice (Cayer) McAuliffe. She had lived in Scituate most of her life.
She is survived by her son, Charles M. Portrais of Johnston with whom she made her home; her brother Fred McAuliffe and his wife Betty of Whitehall, Montana; her sister Kathie Bouchard of North Scituate; her grandchildren Michael and Megan Portrais and her beloved great grandchildren, Kiley and Collin. She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews, four grand nieces and many dear friends.
