Jacqueline R. (Guinard) Bousquet

CHICOPEE – Jacqueline R. (Guinard) Bousquet, 83, formerly of the Fairview section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Sunday, February 26, 2017. She passed into Eternal Life at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by all the memories she loved and cherished. She was born in Holyoke on March 9, 1933, a beloved daughter of the late Leon A. and Rhea G. (Martel) Guinard. She was raised in the Aldenville section of Chicopee, graduated from Saint Joan of Arc Elementary School and lived in Aldenville for many years before moving to Fairview in 1966. Her greatest joy was being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker to her family. During her leisure time, she enjoyed ceramics, playing cards and watching the jewelry shopping channel. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 53 years, Raymond G. Bousquet who was Called Home on August 19, 2003. She leaves her loving daughter, Nancy G. Authier and her husband, Raymond, of Ludlow; her two cherished grandchildren, Craig Authier and Carrie Hamel and her husband, Kenneth; her two cherished great-granddaughters, Brielle and Alivia Hamel; her two dear brothers, Leon E. Guinard and his wife, Dora, of Eldersburg, MD and Raymond Guinard and his wife, Rosemary, of Westfield; her dear companion, Ernest Beaulieu of Chicopee; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended members of the Bousquet, Buskey and Guinard families. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her loving son, Raymond R. Bousquet who was Called Home on April 19, 2011; and her dear sister, Blanche Sowa Dusseault. Her funeral will be held on Monday morning, March 6, 2017 beginning at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Fairview Chapels, (413-533-3307), 506 Britton Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, (funeral home will open at 8:30 a.m.), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Anne Church, 30 College Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her burial will follow the Mass at Sainte Rose Cemetery, 49 Olsen Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, March 6, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. before the Mass. The parking lot is located in the rear of the funeral home.
