Elaine C. (Mann) Schwartz, age 86, of Norton, formerly of Stoughton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her adoring family, in the comfort of her home on Wednesday, March 1, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene E. Schwartz.
Born in Stoughton, MA on February 14, 1931, she was a loving daughter of the late Thomas and Signe (Hagg) Mann.
Elaine grew up and was educated in Stoughton, and a graduate of Stoughton High School. She was a retiring Catering Manager and had made her home in Norton for the past seventeen years. Her favorite times were those spent with her adoring family.
She is survived by her devoted sons Thomas E. Schwartz and his wife Mary of Concord, New Hampshire and Lee A. Schwartz of West Virginia and his late wife Anne. She was the dear sister of Chester “Chet” Mann of Middleboro, Wayne Mann of Carver, Mabel Dykeman of Norton, Glenn Mann of Brockton, Joel Mann of Canton, and the late Thomas Mann and Albert Mann. She is also survived by her cherished seven grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend graveside services on Saturday, April 22nd at 11:00 A.M. at the Evergreen Cemetery, 1100 Washington St., Stoughton. Visiting hours have been omitted.
