Kendall R. Ferguson, 71, of Mountaindale Road, Smithfield, died Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Hebert’s Nursing Home in Smithfield. He was the father of Denice Conkey and John Ferguson.
Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Robert J. and Laure M. (Howard) Ferguson.
He was an Area Manager for Benny’s Stores before retiring. He had served in the US Marines.
Besides his children he is survived by his grandchildren: Jacob Sawyer and Grayce Ferguson. He was the grandfather of the late Kendall R. Conkey. He also leaves his siblings: Beryl Livingston of Foster, Wayne Ferguson of Preston, CT, Warren Ferguson of North Kingstown, Howard Ferguson of Glocester, Robert Ferguson of North Providence and Brian Ferguson of Johnston. He was the brother of the late Jo-Ann Willigan.
His funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday at 10am in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Johnston.
