Edith M. Duarte, 93, of Willow Road, Greenville, died Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Cortland Place in Greenville. She was the widow of Anthony J. Duarte and companion of Antonio Bartolomucci.
Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Edwin and Alice (Hoyt) Fletcher. She had worked as a saleswoman for Queensway Clothing before her retirement.
Bedsides her companion, Anthony, she is survived by her children: Raymond Duarte of Greenville, William Duarte of Cranston, Douglas Duarte of Norton, MA and Nancy Machado of Warren, grandmother of 8, great grandmother of 9 and great great grandmother of 6.
Her funeral service will be held Friday at 12noon in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will be private. Visitation Thursday 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Beacon Hospice, 1 Catamore Blvd, East Providence, RI 02914
