Sister Maria DeLourdes, SC (Sister Joseph Catherine) of Mt. St. Vincent, Wellesley Hills, on February 25, 2016. A Sister of Charity for 71 years who was missioned in Rego Park, Patchogue and Fresh Meadows, New York and British Columbia. Locally St. Peter’s Lowell, Spanish Apostolate, Immaculate Conception, Lowell, St. Patrick’s, Lawrence, Academy of the Assumption and Mt. St. Vincent, Wellesley. Beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Sofia (Silva) Santos. Sister of the late Margaret Grillo, Emily Grillo, Rose Pimentel, Joseph Santos. Aunt of Raoul Pimentel and his wife Ethel and the late Joseph Pimentel. Also survived by her sisters in community. Visiting hours at Mt. St. Vincent, 125 Oakland St. Wellesley Hills on Tuesday February 28 from 9:30 - 10:15 am with a prayer service at 10:15 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:45 am. Relatives and friends are invited. Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Lowell. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sisters of Charity, Mt. St. Vincent Community, 125 Oakland St., Wellesley Hills, MA 02481. | ||||
