Obituary

Guerriero, Christy Francis, of Westwood, born May 21, 1928, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Dedicated husband of 60 years to his loving wife Mary (Karafotias) Guerriero.Devoted and adored father of Chris, his wife Joan, Michael, his wife Nancy, Donna, and her husband Dennis McNulty, all of Lynn, George of Taunton, and Christine of Westwood.A beloved grandfather, he is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Loving brother of Theresa Desimone of East Boston, the late Marie Impemba of Franklin, and Louis Guerriero, formerly of East Boston.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visiting hours at the Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY on Sunday February 26, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. A Funeral service will be held in The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral of New England, 514 Parker St. Boston at 11:00am on Monday February 27, followed by interment the Gardens at Gethsemane Cemetery West Roxbury.

A WW II Army veteran. Mr. Guerriero proudly served as a Boston Police Officer for 38 years until he retired when he turned his focus back on his family. A member of the Boston Patrolman’s Association, he remained lifelong friends with several of his fellow officers who along with his family will miss him, his unmatched sense of humor, generosity, and love of life.
