CHICOPEE – Joseph A. “Joey” Lepage, 49, of the Fairview section of Chicopee, was Called Home on Wednesday, February 15, 2017. He passed into Eternal Life at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by the care and comfort of his loving family. He was born in Holyoke on December 8, 1967, a beloved son of the late Richard L. “Rich” Lepage who was Called Home on February 26, 2008 and Therese U. “Terry” (Guilbault) Lepage who was Called Home on November 10, 2013. He was raised in the Aldenville section of Chicopee, graduated in 1986 from Chicopee Comprensive High School and lived in Chicopee his entire life, moving to Fairview in 1993. He was the owner of Lepage Remolding in Chicopee. He was a communicant of Saint Anne Church in Chicopee and also was a member of the Amherst Railway Society. He enjoyed model railroading and also enjoyed visiting Riverside Speedway as a teenager with his family. Above all, Joey enjoyed spending time with his family and his many friends. He leaves his beloved wife and best friend, Melissa A. (Bobrowski) Lepage. They were married on October 1, 1994 at Saint Anne Church in Chicopee and were blessed with over 22 years of happiness together. He also leaves his two loving daughters, Hannah E. Lepage and Haleigh K. Lepage, both at home; his three dear brothers, Eugene M. Lepage and his wife, Sandy, of Avon, CT, James H. Lepage and his wife, Denise, of Chicopee, and Russell R. Lepage and his wife, Barbara, of Westfield; his dear mother-in-law, Alice Bobrowski of Chicopee; his two dear sisters-in-law and two dear brothers-in-law, Christine Bobrowski and her partner, Chien Wang of Oakland, CA, Bernard Bobrowski and his wife, Bonnie, of Chicopee, Richard Bobrowski and his wife, Jodi, of South Hadley and Melinda Cayer and her husband, Steven, of Granby; and his many cherished uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended members of the Lepage, Guilbault and Bobrowski families. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his dear father-in-law, Bernard R. Bobrowski who was Called Home on July 15, 1999. His funeral will be held on Monday morning, February 20, 2017 beginning at the St. Pierre-Phaneuf Fairview Chapels, (413-533-3307), 506 Britton Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, (funeral home will open at 8:30 a.m.), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Saint Anne Church, 30 College Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. His burial will follow the Mass at Sainte Rose Cemetery, 49 Olsen Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. His family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon, February 19, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The parking lot is located at the rear of the funeral home.
