CATALDO, David Joseph, former Suffolk County Deputy Sheriff, passed unexpectedly February 8, 2017 at his home in Medway. He is survived by his mother Mary Ann (Cataldo) O'Loughlin and her husband Boston Police Officer James O'Loughlin Sr., as well as his father Christopher Cook and his wife Juanita Cook of Whitman. Cherished brother of Cheryl Silva, Jennifer O'Loughlin, Boston Police Officer James O'Loughlin Jr, Shannon LaBarre, Christopher Cook, and Daniel O'Loughlin. Deeply loved by his girlfriend Joicelina N'gola. He will live on in the hearts of his family, including his maternal grandfather retired Boston Police Officer Joseph Cataldo Jr., his paternal grandmother Mary M. Cook, as well as his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is predeceased by his beloved grandmother Mary Cataldo and grandfather Edwin Cook. Visiting hours Wednesday evening, February 15th, 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, WEST ROXBURY. Funeral will be held at William J. Gormley Funeral home on Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m., followed by Funeral Mass at St. Theresa of Avila Church at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
