Mildred E. “Millie” (Marshall) Salley, age 84, of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Norton passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the South Tampa Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the former wife of the late Charles Salley.

Born in Attleboro, MA on December 24, 1932, she was a loving daughter of the late Manuel and Clara (Weber) Marshall.

Millie grew up and was educated in Attleboro. She had made her home in Norton for many years prior to moving to Florida eighteen years ago. She was a dedicated homemaker to her adoring family and had worked at Dunkin Donuts in West Palm Beach and Attleboro for twelve years.

Millie loved spending time with family, especially with her grandchildren. When younger, she participating in bowling leagues in North Attleboro and throughout her life enjoyed knitting. She also enjoyed playing video games and will always be remembered for her exceptional cooking skills and the love and kindness she showed towards animals.

She is survived by her devoted daughters Mildred “Millie” Rabitor and her husband Leon of Tampa, Florida, Debra Bergervine and her husband Stephen of Attleboro, Karen Welch and her husband William of Norton, and was pre-deceased by twin daughters. She was the dear sister of Jorge Cota of Haiti, Minnie Marshall of Florida, John Marshall of Canada, and the late Joseph “Henry” Marshall, Donald Marshall and Robert Marshall. She is also survived by her cherished nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held at the Life Church, 1 New Taunton Avenue, Norton on Saturday, February 18th at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at the Norton Common Cemetery in Norton.

Visitation will be held prior to services on Saturday morning beginning at 9:00 A.M. at the Life Church.
