Beloved wife of the late Russell “Buddy” Shea (Shea & Son Funeral Home, Jamaica Plain) devoted mother of Maureen Carney of West Harwich, and Clare McGowan of West Roxbury and the late James “Jimmy” Shea. Dear mother-in-law of Robert Carney and the late Richard McGowan, devoted sister of the late Joseph C. Kelly. Loving grandmother of Timothy and Kelli McGowan, Michelle Herron, Maura Ford, Stephen and Sheila Carney and 4 great grandchildren. Mary was a late retired Asst. Clerk Magistrate of Roxbury District Court and a volunteer at Holy Name Kindergarten, West Roxbury District Court and the VA in West Roxbury.
Funeral from the Murray-Higgins, Doherty & Shea Funeral Home, 2000 Centre St. West Roxbury on Tuesday, Feb. 14 at 9:30a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at the Monastery of St. Clare, 920 Centre St., Jamaica Plain at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours on Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
