Anne M. Donovan age 94 of Milton passed away at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston. Born in S. Boston, she was raised in Cambridge and graduated from St. John’s High School in Cambridge. She worked for the Bank of Boston for many years before retiring as a Vice President in the International Banking Department. She has lived in Milton for over 30 years, where she was a member of the Milton Women’s Club and an active member of St. Mary of the Hills Church where she was a former member of the choir and a member of the finance committee. Beloved sister of Mary E. Cavanaugh of Shrewsbury, Helen P. Donovan of East Falmouth, and the late Timothy and John Donovan. Aunt of Maribeth Ford of Shrewsbury, Mark Cavanaugh of Bedford, NH, John Cavanaugh of Shrewsbury, Jane Cavanaugh Smith of Shrewsbury, Chris Cavanaugh of Waltham, Caroline Morrill of Darien, CT, Maura Ferris of Brighton, MI and Carol Scott of Norwell. Also survived by 20 grand nieces and nephews and her Godson Rev. William B. Palardy, Pastor St. Agatha Church, Milton. Funeral Mass at St. Mary of the Hills Church Milton Friday at 12 noon. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Thursday 4-8 pm. Burial Milton Cemetery.
