Thomas R. Varatta, Jr, 52, of Beverly Circle, Greenville, died Sunday, January 29, 2017 at his home.
Born in Providence, he was a son of Thomas R. Varatta, Sr. of Glocester and the late Ann Marie (Rebello) Varatta. He had worked as a custodian for the Cranston School Department for five years. He had also worked as a musician for many years.
Besides his father, he is survived by his sons, Thomas R. Varatta, III and his wife Cassie of Lincoln, Alan Varatta and his wife Nicole of Pawtucket and Anthony Varatta of North Providence, as well as his two beloved grandchildren, Madison and Mia. He is also survived his his siblings, Melissa Bailey and her husband, Nicholas of Glocester, and Gregory Varatta and his companion, Stephanie Machado of Providence.
A committal service will be held Thursday, February 2nd in St. Ann’s Cemetery Chapel, Cranston at 10am. Visitation Wednesday from 4-7 pm in the Anderson Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.
