WELSCH, Bernard J. Of Needham, January 23, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Lillian M. (Wright) Welsch. Brother of Robert E. Welsch and the late Mary T. Sullivan. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Bernard was a retired employee of the New England Telephone Company and member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. He was a WWII Army Veteran.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave., NEEDHAM, Friday, Jan. 27 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, Needham, at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours at the funeral home Thursday, Jan. 26 from 5-7pm. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Needham.
