LANNING, Eleanor (Lyness), age 102 of West Roxbury, January 25, 2017. Beloved wife of the late John M. Lanning, Sr. Loving mother of Ellen Masica and her husband Daniel Masica, M.D. of Carmel, IN. She was the mother of the late John M. Lanning, Jr. Loving Grandmother of Andrew Masica, M.D., Caroline Masica, Elizabeth Lanning and Amanda Stoga. Eleanor is also survived by her daughter-in-law Susan Lanning of Jersey City, NJ, her great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, WEST ROXBURY, Friday January 27th at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in Holy Name Church at 11:30. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
