Obituary

Orazio P. Lentini, 91, of Natick died Friday, January 20, 2017, at the Beaumont Nursing Home in Natick.

He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth A. (Hunter) Lentini sharing 63 years of marriage.

Born in Natick and a lifelong resident he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Maria (Badalucco) Lentini.

Mr. Lentini was a painting technician for specialized industrial machine tool companies for over 40 years. He began his career at General Motors in Framingham and later worked for Raytheon, Honeywell and retired from the Boston Digital Corporation of Hopkinton.

He enjoyed fly fishing and was an avid golfer, competitive, and possessing a great short game, played for many years at Saddle Hill Golf Club in Hopkinton and Millwood Golf Club in Framingham.

Mr. Lentini was a Veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II.

In addition to his wife he is survived five children; Susan Mullaney and her husband Greg of Medway, Paul A. Lentini of Natick, Michael P. Lentini and his wife Kathy of Natick, Anne Salvia of Franklin, Lianne Borax and her husband Rick of Southborough, brothers Vito Lentini and his wife Margaret of Natick, Francis “Chick” Lentini and his wife Donna of Maine, six grandchildren Brian Mullaney, Kevin Mullaney, Shane Lentini, Shaun Lentini, Melissa Salvia, Mark Salvia, and several nieces and nephews.

He was also the father of the late Lisa Hartman, and brother of the late Tony Lentini.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral on Thursday, January 26th at 9:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at Natick Common, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick’s Church at 10:00 A.M.

Visiting hours are Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M.
