LODI, Galba “Gail” Lifelong resident of Wellesley, died peacefully after a brief illness January 15, 2017. Beloved daughter of the late Egidio and Pia (Gozzi) Lodi. Sister of the late Robert, Francis, and Anthony Lodi. Aunt of Robert Lodi of Gardner, Richard Lodi of Marlboro, Nancy Alonso of Norwood, Rhonda Phelan of Glen, NH, Carl Lodi of Natick, Lisa Lodi of Bedford, Kim Fakih of Billerica, and the late Gail and David Lodi. Also survived by many great-nieces and nephews.
Gail was a retired secretary for the Wellesley Public Schools for over 30 years and former secretary for St. Paul School. Graduate of Wellesley High School class of 1941.
Visitation at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St., (Rt.16) WELLESLEY, Friday, Jan. 20 from 9:00-10:30am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Paul Church, Wellesley at 11:00am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley.
