Shea, Maureen T. (Walsh), 52 years, of West Roxbury, died at home on December 23rd surrounded by her family after a courageous two year battle with cancer. Beloved mother of Colleen T. and John J. Shea Jr. of West Roxbury. Loving sister of Annemarie, Thomas, Aidan and Diane Walsh, all of West Roxbury. Devoted aunt to Robert, Thomas, Michael and Marianne. Daughter of the late Thomas F. and Mary A. (Gately) Walsh. Also survived by many cousins and friends. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre Street West Roxbury on Thursday December 29, at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa of Avila Church, 2078 Centre Street West Roxbury at 10 o’clock. Visiting hours on Wed. 4pm – 8pm. Interment at Mt. Benedict Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Late employee of National Grid.
