Barbara Larkin Spencer, May 23, 1934 - October 9, 2016 of Rosewell Georgia passed away on Sunday at the age of 82. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and “checking on her chickens”. Her hobbies included quilting, knitting, playing cards and games with her friends and family and taking trips to the place she loved most, Cape Cod. She was an active member of All Saints Catholic Church. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Marie Cockrell; brothers, Robert K. Larkin and Eugene T. Larkin; parents, Michael J. Larkin Sr. and Katherine Starvish Larkin. She is survived by her husband, Ernest C. Spencer Jr.; daughters, Catherine E. Spencer, Robin Jean Pastush, Mary Beth Miskill, Anne Larkin Pilcher and Monica Margaret Lanier; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren, sister, Joan K. Dawson and brother Michael J. Larkin Jr. Visitation was held on Thursday and Friday in the Rosewell Funeral Home in Rosewell, GA and a Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, October 15th at 2 pm. at All Saints Catholic Church in Dunwoody, GA. Funeral home visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, October 19th from 10 am. to 1 pm. in the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. Taunton, MA 02780. A graveside service will be held at the Pine Hill Cemetery in East Taunton at 1:45 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara’s memory to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
