Howard Dean Kilgore Obituary - Water Valley MS

Howard Dean Kilgore, age 62, died Monday, October 3, 2016 in Charleston, MS. He was born March 17, 1954 to the late Henry Leonard and Elizabeth Jackson Kilgore. Dean was a Baptist, and at a young age he joined Cascilla Baptist Church. He worked most of his life in construction as a roofer and enjoyed fishing and gardening. Dean loved people, and had a way of encouraging others and making them smile. He had a kind and generous heart and would look for ways to help anyone. Dean knew what it was like to struggle in life and was grateful for every little thing. He will be missed by his family and many friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 3:00 pm in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. Dave Tribble and Bro. Roger Jackson officiating. Burial will be in the New Hope Cemetery in Yalobusha County, MS.

Dean is survived by his sister, Diane Crocker (Phil Walls) of Water Valley, MS; three brothers, Leonard (Brenda) Kilgore of Water Valley, MS, Cecil Wayne (Brenda) Winters and Ricky Charles Winters all of Cascilla, MS; four nieces, Jennifer Kilgore, Lauren Kilgore, Georgia Kilgore and Hannah Ragon; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
