In Taunton, October 1, 2016 Fernando DaSilva Macedo, passed away in his home with his loving family by his side, following a lengthy illness. Fernando was born in St. Miguel, Portugal, the son of Ilda Goulart and his late father Antonio Macedo. He has been living in Taunton the past twelve years and was formerly of St. Miquel, Azores. Fernando worked as a painter and he enjoyed X Box, listening to music and spending time with his family. In addition to his Mom, Fernando leaves his siblings Antonio Macedo of St. Miquel, Ilda Amaral of St. Miquel, Jose Macedo of Taunton, Emanuel Macedo of St. Miquel, Jack Dasilva of Fall River, Anna DeSousa of Taunton and Paul DaSilva of North Dighton. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to funeral home visiting hours at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, Ma 02780 on Thursday, October 6th from 9:30-11am. A service will be held following visitation at 11am. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton.
