BOYLSTON-Grace M. (Trahant) Daley, 83 of Boylston died Thursday, September 29 in Oakdale Nursing Center.
Her husband, William E. Daley, Jr. died in 1991. She leaves two daughters, Patricia Haglund and her husband, James of Boylston and Aileen Willcox and her husband, George of Vero Beach, Fl; five grandchildren, Eric Haglund and his wife Emily of Woodstock, CT, David Haglund of Clinton, Kevin Haglund and his wife, Rebecca of Stratford, CT, Mark Markowski and his wife, Brenda of Grafton and Michael Markowski and his wife, Mindy of Davenport, FL; four great grand-daughters, Julia and Grace Markowski of Grafton and Lauren and Vera Haglund of Stratford, CT and a sister, Marjorie Bousquet and her husband, Ray of Worcester. She was born in Worcester, daughter of, John and Elizabeth (Flood) Trahant and lived in Boylston for 52 years.
Grace enjoyed traveling the country with her husband and in later years eventually traveling the world with her cousins and friends. She loved hosting Sunday dinner for the family and going to Walt Disney World with the family on more than one occasion. Grace loved summer camping at Old Orchard Beach, sitting down to watch any live sports event or playing bingo with friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Oakdale Nursing Center for their excellent care over the last five months.
A Visiting Hour will be held Monday, October 3 from 9-10AM at FAY BROTHERS Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston St., West Boylston with a Mass to follow at 10:30AM in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St., West Boylston. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
