Linda J. (Larochelle) Betts, age 55, of Norton, formerly of Norfolk, passed away in the comfort of her home, in the presence of her loving family on Tuesday, September 20, 2016.
Born in Attleboro, MA on January 6, 1961, she was a loving daughter of Priscilla (Draper) Larochelle of Wrentham and the late Henry Larochelle.
Linda grew up in Norfolk and was a 1979 graduate of King Philip High School in Wrentham. She had made her home in Norton for over 30 years and had worked as a business manager at Christmas Trees Worldwide in Wrentham.
Linda’s favorite times were those spent with her family and especially helping to raise her granddaughter. She also loved animals, spending time at the beach, playing cards and tending to her beautiful flower gardens.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her devoted daughters Mellissa J. Betts and her husband Jared Hedges of Pasadena, CA and Rosanne M. Betts of Norton. She was the adoring grandmother of Edith M. Hedges and Alexis M. Correia. She was the dear sister of Martha Perry and Beth Ziolkowski both of Plainville, and is also survived by her beloved fiancé Gregory Dutcher of Norton, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 27th at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 1 Power St., Norton. Burial will be private.
Visiting hours are omitted and in place of flowers, Linda’s family has requested that donations in her memory be made to the Norton Animal Shelter-Control, 84 Hill St., Norton, MA 02766.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp St., Norton.
