In Kearny, N.J. Colon "Colie" Spearin, age 62, passed away unexpectedly in his home. Colon was born in Taunton, Ma., the son of the late Richard & Lorraine (Nolet) Spearin. He had resided in Kearny, N.J. for the past twenty years and was formerly of Taunton, Ma. He was employed in sales for building materials. Colon was a great mentor to many, he was an avid golfer, loved sports and his family. He is survived by his two sisters Gail Spearin of Acushnet and Joy Spearin of Taunton, three brothers Richard and Ronald of Taunton and Russell of Bridgewater. He was preceded in death by his brothers William, Robert and Randall Spearin. He is also survived by a loving aunt and two uncles, several nieces and nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be private at the request of the family, Arrangements are under the direction of the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton, Ma.
