Marguerite (Kashtan) Panagopoulas, of Woonsocket, formerly of Mansfield, passed away in the presence of her loving family on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care in Providence.
Born in Attleboro, MA on August 21, 1961, she was a loving and devoted daughter of the late Walter and Marguerite (Cataloni) Kashtan.
Marguerite grew up in Mansfield and was a graduate of Mansfield High School. She had made her home in Woonsocket for the past two years and was a former lifelong resident of Mansfield.
A communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield, Marguerite was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan. She loved the outdoors, trips to local casinos and had a special place in her heart for animals.
She was the dear sister of Robert J. Kashtan and his wife Paulette of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Michael R. Kashtan and his wife Rose of Clearwater, Florida and the late Walter J. Kashtan. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private burial will take place at a later date in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Mansfield.
