DOYLE, James “Jimmy” of Jamaica Plain, formerly of Mission Hill, and Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny, Ireland, died peacefully at home on September 12, 2016. Beloved husband of Joan (Duggan) formerly of Co. Cork. Loving father of Sheila Kahaly and her husband George of Walpole, Sean Doyle and his wife Shannon of Norwood, and Katie Doyle (NPD) of South Boston. Devoted grandfather of Shannon, Erin, Caitlin, Patrick, Ryan, and Kate. Beloved brother of Bridget Phillips of England, and the late Nancy Fooks, Trudy Rogers and Kathleen Doyle. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY, Friday, September 16th at 9am. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa Church at 10 o’clock. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 pm. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Mt. Benedict Cemetery. Member of the Erin’s Hope Football Club. Also a finished carpenter and loyal retiree to Algonquin Gas Transmission in Brighton.
