Obituary


WEST BOYLSTON-Jean A. (Cousins) Onstott, 87, of West Boylston passed away Tuesday, September 6 in Sterling Village Nursing Center.

She leaves two sons, David R. Onstott and his wife, Mary of Worcester and Kenneth W. Onstott and his wife, Diana of Camp Hill, PA; four grandchildren, Hannah, Doria, Shelby and Amber; three sisters, Virginia L. Howard of West Boylston, Patricia B. Persson of Worcester and Ruth C. Perry of Putnam, CT; and nieces and nephews. A brother, James J. Cousins, Jr. predeceased her. She was born in Flushing, NY daughter of. James J. and Isabella (Waters) Cousins and graduated from West Boylston High School and the Hahnemann School of Nursing. Jean served as a Lieutenant in the Navy and a Veteran of the Korean War.

Jean was a nurse for many years in Oakdale Nursing Center and the Lutheran Home, before retiring. She was a member of the Oakdale United Methodist Church.

A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, September 10 at 11AM in Mt Vernon Cemetery. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Activity Fund at Sterling Village Nursing Center, 18 Dana Hill Rd., Sterling, 01564.
