In Taunton, September 2, 2016 Jose Francisco Pimentel, Passed away in Morton Hospital while surrounded by his loving family at the age of 67. Jose was preceded in death by his wife Gabriela (Andrade) Pimentel. He was born in St. Miguel, Portugal, the son of the late Joao & Maria (Conceicao) Pimentel. Jose has resided in Taunton since 1976 and was formerly of Portugal. He was proud of serving his country in the military during the Guinea-Bissau War and is a member of the Portuguese Veterans Association of Taunton. Jose enjoyed going to Countryside Adult Day Health in Raynham and photography, soccer, playing games, listening to music, his cats and going to Portuguese festivals. Above all Jose loved spending time with his family and friends. Jose leaves his loving siblings Maria DeLourdes Benevides of Taunton, John Pimentel of FL, Maria DeJose Costa of St. Miguel, Portugal, Marta Pereira of Taunton, Manuel Pimentel of Rehoboth, Vicente Pimentel of Somerset and Ana Maria Sullivan of FL. He also leaves several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016 at 10:30am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Annunciation of the Lord Church at 11:30am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Monday from 5-8pm. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton
