Teresa M. Gosney, 71, of Fitzgerald, died Thursday, August 25, 2016, at her residence.
Memorial services will be held 4 PM, Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Ironman Auctions, 237 Bowens Mill Highway, Fitzgerald with Chaplain Landon Alberson officiating.
Ms. Gosney was born November 28, 1944, in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late Manuel & Evelyn Norman Martinez. She was a former clerk for Western wear and feed stores in Pompano Beach, Florida. After moving to Fitzgerald, she worked as a clerk at Dollar General and also worked for American Blanching. She attended Crossview Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Eddie Gosney of Fitzgerald; a son, Edward Lee Gosney, Jr. of Fitzgerald; a grandson, Austin Edward Gosney of Coral Springs, Florida; a brother, Buck & Beverly Martinez of Blairsville; and a sister, Deloris Fletcher of Orange Park, Florida. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Ann Gibson.
