Mr. Bullington was born January 18, 1924 in Jones County, GA to Robert Morgan Bullington, Sr and Mattie Roberts Bullington. He was the only son of 8 children. He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Eleanor Floyd Bullington and six sisters.

He was awarded several medals including the WWII Victory Medal, the American Theatre Service Ribbon, the EAMET Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.
