Rose (Pino) Bell, age 96, a lifelong resident of Norton, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of the late George Bell.

Born in Norton, MA on October 20, 1919, she was a loving daughter of the late Dominico and Tindra (Naise) Pino.

Rose had worked for many years at the former Victory Club and later when it was renamed the Victory Casa, a well-known restaurant in Norton, which was owned by her family. When younger she had been employed at the former Talbots Woolen Mill, also in Norton.

Rose was a devout Catholic and a communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Norton. Her family and extended family were the focal point of her life and they will always remember her for her mischievous twinkle and inquiring ways. While a resident of Epoch/Wingate in Norton, Rose very much enjoyed playing bingo.

She is survived by her devoted children George W. Bell, II and his wife Frances of Foxborough and Nancy E. Bell and her husband Raul DaSilva of St. Petersburg, Florida. She was the dear sister of the late Pauline Orford, Annie D’Angelo and Charles Pino. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Aaron Bell and his wife Karen of Wrentham, Marisa Doherty and her husband Robert of Chicago, Sarah Bell of Philadelphia and the late George Bell, her great grandchildren Rose, Katherine, Charlie and Isabel, as well as several generations of loving nieces and nephews.

Her funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 17th at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 58 Carpenter St., Foxborough. Burial will follow at the Rock Hill Cemetery in Foxborough.

Visiting hours are omitted and those wishing may remember Rose with a donation in her memory made to the Sunshine Fund, Unit A, Epoch/Wingate of Norton, 184 Mansfield Ave., Norton, MA 02766.
