Worcester-Dora G. (Sharnopolski) Tandetnik, 77, of Worcester passed away, Tuesday, July 19 in UMASS Medical Center after a five year courageous fight with cancer.
She leaves her husband of 58 years, Mikhail Tandetnik; a son, Boris and his wife, Irina Tandetnik of Worcester and three grandchildren, Esther, Daniel and Tom. A sister predeceased her. She was born in Moscow, Russia, daughter of Gregory and Esther (Blecher) Sharnopolski and immigrated to the United States as a Soviet refugee in 2000.
Dora was a loving wife, a caring mother and a wonderful grandmother, she will be deeply missed by her family and throughout the Russian Jewish community of Worcester.
The Funeral Service will be held Today, July 20 at 11AM in CALLAHAN~FAY~CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street. Burial will follow in Holy Society Cemetery, Leicester. Memorial Observations will be private
