Obituary

West Boylston-Mary Jo (Young) Edilberti, 93, passed away on Sunday, June 19th at Knollwood Nursing Center. Mary was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Randolph J. Edilberti in 2000. She leaves four children, Randolph J. Edilberti, Jr. and his wife Barbara of West Boylston, David P. Edilberti of West Boylston Patricia A. Robbins and her companion William Dauskz of Worcester and Theresa M. Sarrette and her husband Michael of Rutland; seven grandchildren, Steve and David Durham, Nicole and Christopher Sarrette, Tracey Burdett, Todd Robbins and Tami Dunphy; ten great grandchildren; her brother, Bobby Young of Bowling Green, KY and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Harold and Doyle Young.

Mary Jo was born in Riverside, KY a daughter of Lonnie B. and Allie (Meredith) Young. Mary came to West Boylston in 1942 and has lived here ever since. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church and its Women’s Club. She also worked in the rectory for some time.

The family would like to thank everyone at Summit Elder care especially her doctor, Dr. Glenn Randall. They would also like to thank her caregivers, Kelly and Betsy Handy, Lori Morse and Bev Conlen.

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, June 21st from 4:00 until 7:00 pm at FAY BROTHERS Funeral Home, 1 West Boylston St. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 22nd at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Summit Eldercare, 277 E. Mountain St., Worcester, MA 01606, Beaman Memorial Public Library, 8 Newton St., West Boylston, MA 01583 or American Stroke Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241.
