Micarelli, James M. of Dedham, after bravely fighting addiction for years, passed into eternal life and peace on Sunday, June 12th, 2016. Cherished son of Brenda and Michael Micarelli of Dedham. Beloved brother of Jennifer and her husband Martin Schofield of Medway and Michelle Micarelli of Boston. Jim was the proud uncle and Godfather to Peter Schofield of Medway and is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jim was more than an addict and a statistic. He was a thriving young man who was celebrating two years clean and whose life ended in a moment of lapsed judgement. Jim was kind, sensitive, hardworking and a generous person who had an undying love for his family and fought hard to beat his addiction. For any addict battling addiction seek help, for those in recovery keep fighting and never give up. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home 2055 Centre St. West Roxbury on Saturday June 18th at 9am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St Theresa of Avila Church at 10 o’clock. Visiting hours Friday 4pm – 8pm.
