Obituary

Waynesboro – Everett Hayes Monroe, beloved son of Katie Fairbanks and Taylor Monroe, entered into rest on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with Pastor Clarence Jenkins officiating.

Everett Hayes has always been a blessing from the beginning. He blessed so many of us with his free spirit and happy soul. Everett was easy going and had no problem expressing his love with his wide open mouth kisses--and he had plenty to go around. He enjoyed being tossed on his sister’s hip and was so ready for whatever adventure Gabe and Elaina had in store for him. Everett loved his special times with Mommy and loved to cuddle and run his little hands though his Daddy’s beard. He left foot prints with each memory and he will forever live on with us through every day to come. He is now our Newest Guardian Angel.

In addition to his parents, Taylor and Katie, he is survived by his brother and sister; Gabriel and Elaina Miller, his grandparents; Dama Rumsey, Lonnie Smith, John Monroe, and Donald and Twila Fairbanks, his great grandparents; Larry Rumsey, Judy Maddox and Betty Fairbanks, his aunts and uncles; Aaron Monroe, Alex Walicke, Jakob Walicke, Jordan Fairbanks, Joshua Milam and Frances Parker, as well as his cousins; Hunter, Zack and Noah.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 from 12:00 until the time of service.
