Thomas Tarvit, 91, of Worcester, passed away Tuesday, April 12th in the Lutheran Nursing Center. He leaves two nephews, Kenneth I. Tarvit of Worcester and Howard Tarvit of Madison, ME; and a niece, Laurie Stearns of West Rutland, VT. He was predeceased by three brothers, William, Samuel, and James Tarvit.
He was born in Worcester, the son of James and Arabella (MacDonald) Tarvit and lived here all his life. Mr. Tarvit worked for Howard Bros. Textile Company for many years. He was a World War II United States Navy veteran.
Funeral services are private. O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, is assisting with arrangements.
