Charlton- Deanna Katherine “Kay” (Barrett) Anderson, 78, passed away Monday, April 11, 2016 at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge after a short illness.
Kay was born on November 16, 1937 in Worcester, MA a daughter of the late Alice and Clifford Barrett. She attended Worcester public schools.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 57 years, Russell Anderson, Sr. and her 4 children, Russell Anderson, Sr., Dori Anderson, Sherry Anderson and her partner Mike Corso, and Scott Anderson. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren, Tara Earley, Michael Corso and his wife Meaghan, Crystal Corso, Gabrielle Gay, and Kyle Anderson, 3 great-grandchildren, Alexis, Scott, and Victoria Starr, and one more on the way. Kay also leaves her sister Sheila Diggins of Holden, along with many other nieces, nephews, and cousins. Kay was predeceased by her parents and a sister Barbara Chalifoux.
Kay loved going to the casinos and enjoyed her trips to Las Vegas with her husband. She also loved the yearly family vacations to Lake George, NY. Kay will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Calling Hours for Kay will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 5:00-7:00PM at the ROBERT J. MILLER- CHARLTON FUNERAL HOME, 175 Old Worcester Rd., Charlton.
A Graveside Service will be Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 9:15AM at West Ridge Cemetery in Charlton. Please meet directly at the Cemetery.
