Ricky Howard Peacock, age 68, of Coffeeville, MS died Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Yalobusha General Hospital in Water Valley, MS. He was born March 13, 1948 in Memphis, TN to the late Forrest Hillard Peacock and Hazel Adams Pack.

Ricky grew up in Water Valley, MS and after high school served in the United States Navy. He worked for many years as a painter. Ricky enjoyed fishing, shooting pool and spending time with his family and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. A private family memorial will be held at a later date. Ricky is survived by his daughters, Laura Peacock (Grant) Thompson and Jennifer Peacock all of Mount Gay, WV; his sons, Ricky Peacock, Jr. of Mount Gay, WV and Jason Mottz of Corinth, MS; his sister, Sherry Peacock (Alex McCoy) of Water Valley, MS; his brothers, Randy (Linda) Peacock of Coffeeville, MS and Eddie Peacock of Water Valley, MS; and a host of grandchildren and other relatives.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jeffery Peacock; his sister, Darlene Peacock; and his brother, Robin Peacock.
